Woodo on Steam, PS5, Xbox and Switch: Platform Guide
Compare Woodo platform coverage and reviewer evidence across Steam, PS5, Xbox, Switch and Switch 2 without confusing official support with hands-on testing.
What is officially supported?
Official store information lists Woodo as a single-player release for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Steam also lists a demo and 24 achievements. Store access, pricing, language display, and demo availability can vary by region.
This page does not claim a shared frame rate, resolution, loading time, or performance profile. No cross-platform benchmark was verified in the sources used here.
Platform evidence
| Platform | Evidence | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Steam / PC | Official store page, demo, achievements, live reviews | No independent PC benchmark here |
| PS5 | Video Chums reviewed PS5 and discussed scene detail and camera presentation | Media hands-on, not our test |
| Xbox Series X|S | Gaming.net, TheXboxHub, and Complete Xbox reviewed Xbox versions | Media opinions differ |
| Switch | Gaming.net included Switch in its coverage | No technical benchmark here |
| Switch 2 | Official platform coverage; community notes discuss Joy-Con 2 mouse input | Availability plus community feedback, not our test |
Steam and PC
Steam is the clearest reference for release date, demo, achievements, supported languages, and current player statistics. On 2026-09-18 it showed 200 user reviews with 98% positive. That live statistic can change. Use the controls and camera guide for a camera sweep and precise placement method.
PS5
Video Chums praised the wooden scene detail, camera work, interaction feedback, and gentle Foxy story on PS5. A Reddit player described PS5 camera angles as something that may take time to learn. The second statement is one player’s feedback, not a universal hardware conclusion.
Xbox Series X|S
Gaming.net reviewed Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC and gave 9.5/10. TheXboxHub gave its Xbox review 4.5/5, while Complete Xbox gave 80%. These are a positive range, not one industry consensus. The recurring Xbox observations are presentation, audio, hints, short scope, and limited replay value.
Switch and Switch 2
Gaming.net included Nintendo Switch in its review coverage. Nintendo Life separately reported the Switch 1 and Switch 2 launch date and described the same plug-in wooden-item loop, but its article was news/preview coverage rather than a technical test. MeriStation also lists PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and Switch 2 for the 2026-09-16 release.
Official platform coverage includes Switch 2, while the community controls page discusses Joy-Con 2 mouse-style input. This site has not performed a Switch 2 hands-on test, so do not infer frame rate, resolution, or comfort ranking.
Choose the store where you prefer short, calm puzzle sessions and where the demo or return policy works for you. For the purchase decision, read the Woodo review and the existing release date and platforms page.
